I have been practicing general internal medicine in Orange County since 1998.  As an internist and primary-care doctor, I perform physical exams and treat a wide spectrum of common illnesses in adult men and women. Over the years, my focus has been on outpatient office practice in addition to providing care for patients at nursing and rehabilitation facilities. 

I also practiced as a full-time hospitalist for fifteen years at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center until 2013. My emphasis is on comprehensive adult care with particular attention to the senior population. I encourage patients to be active and willing participants in their health care so that they take a more positive role in their own well being. I believe that medicine is an art that is created through a partnership between physician and patient.

For me to be effective, my approach must include understanding each person’s physical and emotional needs. I have also had the privilege of holding several past and current medical directorship positions, including at Laguna Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center, as well as Memorial Care Home Health and Sanctuary / Echo Hospice.  This has further strengthened my commitment to patients who need post-acute rehabilitation or patients who are in need of palliative care.
